Lenin: The Organic Centralist

$10.00

The Communist Party traces its roots back to 1848, built upon a theory of history and initial tactical foundations. Over the following decades, Marx and Engels, through their dedicated efforts, forged the essential theoretical framework of communism, which we now recognize as Marxism. This ongoing task has never ceased within our resolute party formation.

This text traces the tumultuous path of the Communist Party, an organization that has weathered countless transformations and interruptions, including the abandonment and reclamation of its very name.

In 1973, a pivotal moment compelled the party to confront its own history and reaffirm its commitment to the tradition of the Communist Left, also known as the Italian Left. This current, originally established as the Communist Party of Italy within the Communist International in 1921, was expelled due to its refusal to align with the methods and policies of Stalinism that dominated the International.

Drawing from a reservoir of historical texts, articles, and theses produced by the Communist Left over a span of decades, this book weaves together the party’s story. Although the initial ambition was to incorporate Lenin’s writings, logistical challenges thwarted this endeavor. Nevertheless, an unwavering conviction persisted among our comrades—that our party was the genuine and sole heir to the legacies of Lenin and the Bolsheviks, both in spirit and substance.

Lenin, The Organic Centralist extends beyond historical reflection. This work is especially dedicated to young comrades who have approached the Party from countries where the tradition of communism has long been forgotten, mystified, condemned. We wish these comrades well in their work, as they tread in the uncorrupted footsteps of revolutionary Marxism, as always.
